Surf had been decent for a few days and this was the first chance I had to get out there. I got up early enough to make it to Rye by 8:30 AM and snagged a good spot along the road. Had my McTav, which never fails. The conditions were perfect. Light wind, waist-chest clean waves that were really easy to get into and clear water. I must have caught about 20 of 23 attempts. Best day so far this year. Had a good mix of rights and lefts with nice rides on the face. My wetsuit is on the fringe, but it's hanging on. Photo is from the Wall.
